DRAG SPECIALTIES SHOCKS — Manufacturer Ref. C16-0156H
Monotube nitrogen-charged shocks, black/chrome finish, designed for Vintage/Classic and Road/Touring universes. Sturdy steel body with hard chrome-plated shafts and progressive dual-rate springs: a combination designed to absorb imperfections and maintain rear-end control.
- Extended length: 305 mm (12.00").
- Adjustments: adjustable spring preload and height adjustment +/- 1/2" from the stated size.
- Construction: internal element (internal reservoir), gas-charged damping method, steel material, heavy-duty.
- Finish: body and springs available in black with chrome details on the shafts.
Installation features and precautions: these shocks install with existing mounting hardware. Models shorter than stock reduce travel and may affect handling; lowering the bike decreases ground clearance, especially in corners. The original upper covers are not compatible, and these shocks are not suitable for rear lowering kits. On some motorcycles equipped with OEM external reservoir shocks, specific mounting may be required.
Common compatibility: Harley-Davidson FXDLS 1800 (2017), FXDWG 1690 Wide Glide (2017), FXDL 1690 Low Rider (2017). Check dimensions and wheel clearance before installation.
