Made from high-quality chrome-silicon wire, the spring is cold wound and then heat treated. It is pre-set, ground to length, and polished, before receiving a phosphated finish and a powder coating that protects against wear and corrosion. The stiffness is controlled with an accuracy of ±2.5% in accordance with DIN 2095 Grade 1 and ISO 9000/2000 quality procedures.
