DPR8EIX-9 Spark Plug by NGK

The NGK DPR8EIX-9 spark plug features an iridium electrode for ignition in motorcycles designed for road use. Its design is associated with improved ignition performance, reduced fuel consumption, and optimal lifespan.

Usage and Performance

• The iridium electrode promotes better ignition performance than a standard spark plug, enhancing engine operation.
• The Iridium design helps to reduce fuel consumption during motorcycle use.
• The optimal lifespan of the spark plug minimizes the need for replacements.
• The reliability of the ignition contributes to the smooth operation of the engine.

Installation and Fitting

• The 12 mm thread facilitates the selection of a spark plug suitable for the designated housing.
• The 1.25 mm pitch ensures a precise match with the cylinder head thread.
• The 18 mm thread length aids in verifying compatibility with the engine prior to fitting.
• A 6-point 18 mm spark plug socket is required for installation or removal of the spark plug.
• A torque of 15-20 Nm helps achieve a fitting that complies with the spark plug specifications.
• The electrode gap of 0.80 mm maintains the intended setting for ignition.
