Dayco presents the reinforced timing belt type for Ducati motorcycles. Dayco's HT belts ensure effective and consistent coupling between the various elements of the transmission, even under high mechanical stress, thanks to innovative materials and a special PTFE film combined with the tooth cover fabric. The HT belt is immediately recognisable by its unique white inner side, which is due to the presence of the PTFE film, an exclusive patent of Dayco.

Thanks to this new technology, Dayco has managed to increase the wear resistance of the belt, through engagement with the pulleys (including on the side of the belt) and to limit lateral wear caused by the contact of the belt side with the pulley flange.

Composition of an HT timing belt:

• Belt tooth protected by the PTFE film combined with the fabric
• High modulus new generation glass fibre insert
• Belt mixture made with modern polymers, resistant to temperatures up to 120°C/250°F
