For reliable installation, it is recommended to simultaneously replace the bearings and crankshaft seals (sold separately). Using quality 2-stroke oil helps to limit wear. Under normal usage conditions, replace the crankshaft no later than every 20,000 km; a worn or defective crankshaft can cause further damage to the engine.
