The airbag protection against impacts is only effective when the airbag is fully inflated and the jacket is properly and securely fastened (zipper all the way up and press stud closed or all plastic buckles closed). It is imperative to connect the device to the motorcycle or scooter to trigger the inflation of the vest and be protected.
