To renew the transmission system and exploit its exceptional technical features, the drive was perfected: the Multivar MHR Next was born. This new drive is the evolution of previous generations, born of many years'' experience on circuits and the Cad-Cam technology now available. It delivers performance at the highest levels.

The transmission curve shows that the work of the technicians was concentrated on extending the operating range of the variator, in particular the short speed, gaining even more acceleration and pick-up, as well as improving transmission linearity, keeping engine speed almost unchanged throughout the variator changeover phase.

We''ve done even better: we''ve further reduced the tolerances between hub and bushing and minimized roughness to achieve a truly incomparable drive!
