• Once closed, the Tech-Air® 5 Plasma activates automatically thanks to a separate internal magnetic sensor.
• The LED display on the lower part of the chest gives a visual indication of the system's operating status and triggers a short haptic vibration (1 second) to warn the rider and confirm activation. The system generates a long vibration (3 seconds) when it is switched off or if a red status LED lights up.
• The Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA offers three driving modes: STREET, OFF-ROAD and RACE.  
• Once the system has been correctly switched on, the user can easily switch from one mode to another by pressing the button on the LED display for two seconds.
• A steady green LED lights up on the driving mode indicator, indicating the active mode. The pilot can simply browse through the modes until it is selected. The system triggers a short vibration (1 second) when the mode is changed.
• The Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA features a fully modular construction, allowing the system to be quickly disassembled for maintenance and cleaning with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
• Ultra-light construction: Weighing just 1,530g, the Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA is more than 25% lighter than the Tech-Air® 5, making it the lightest Tech-Air® system to date.

• The Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA airbag system offers comprehensive chest, rib, back and shoulder protection while retaining an exceptionally lightweight design for optimum rider comfort.
• Active protection: the airbag offers full upper body coverage, protecting the chest, ribs, back and shoulders.
• Integrated back protection : Integrated Nucleon PLASMA back, PLASMA technology is an eco-friendly, lightweight, shock-absorbing material designed to offer optimal flexibility, breathability and ventilation. This protection offers optimum adaptability for a perfect balance between shock absorption, flexibility and comfort.
• Passive back protection is CE certified to EN1621-2:2014 Level 1 (Full back).
• The inflatable protector is CE certified to EN 1621-4:2013 Level 1 (Full back).
• A maximum inflation time of 20 to 40 ms depending on the volume of the airbag when it is deployed
