With its three driving modes ENDURO, RALLY and STREET, the Tech-Air® Off-Road system is designed to protect in the event of collisions against obstacles and falls due to loss of control.
- ENDURO Mode is optimised for low- to medium-speed rides, when the rider is riding on unsealed surfaces such as gravel, riverbeds, mud and other natural terrain. Typically, these driving situations involve several changes of direction, as well as obstacles and hills that are negotiated at low speed.
- RALLY Mode is optimised for fast action on all types of terrain and recommended for courses characterised by long straights with multiple potholes and different types of terrain ridden at higher speeds, cases rarely encountered in classic enduro competition. These driving situations occur mainly in desert environments (with dunes and sandy soils), on gravel-covered ground and in open country.
- STREET Mode is optimised for tarmac roads, in more complex traffic situations with other vehicles, including cases where a vehicle collides with the rider's motorbike while it is stationary.
