The composite mounting limits unsprung mass while maintaining a wear-resistant toothed surface — a relevant choice for motocross and muddy conditions.

The Hex-Drive connection between the aluminum ring and the steel ring ensures assembly without excessive stress on the rivets. The CAD profile and new mud evacuation grooves reduce dirt accumulation around the teeth, and the rigid design improves resistance to torsional stress.
