This part being universal, it may require adaptations
ProTaper''s revolutionary self-starting hook (SELA) solves a problem encountered by all motocross riders, whatever their skill level: setting up a starting device alone is at best clumsy and at worst impossible. With its patent-pending self-engaging rotary dial, SELA can be easily set without any assistance, giving riders the freedom to practice starts and line up for races on their own.
When starting off, SELA temporarily compresses the bike''s front suspension, reducing its tendency to wheelie under acceleration. This optimizes rear-wheel traction, allowing the rider to be more aggressive with the throttle and launch the straightaway with greater control.
Its unique, modular design allows the SELA to be installed on most of the latest generation of large motocross bikes. A double-hinged receiver ring allows quick and convenient installation without removing the front wheel or fork.
