The MLV2-C waistcoat features fully reflective stripes for maximum visibility at night while remaining aesthetically discreet during the day. The MLV2-C features large airbags for optimum safety.

Protection for the chest and abdomen is increased tenfold thanks to the memory foam plates integrated on either side of the ribcage, providing extra comfort and unique protection.

An innovative new semi-flexible protective shell enhances the cartridge's protection from external aggression, particularly in the event of impact or shock. Its deployment system has been simplified to the extreme by Velcro hook-and-loop fasteners. Similarly, the simplification of the camera body means that the shutter can be released even more quickly.

Equipped with an improved trigger system, the deployment speed of the Hit-Air MLV2-C airbag waistcoat is between 90 ms and 160 ms depending on model size.

• A minimum weight of 30 kg is required.
• It works with 50 CC cartridges for size S and 60 CC cartridges for sizes M and L.
• It adjusts at the waist with an adjustable strap inside the waistcoat to suit all body shapes.
• A set of extension loops, sold separately, will give you an extra 15 cm around the waist and chest.

All products are sold ready to use with a cartridge, their connection strap, a reset kit and a storage bag.

How do you reset your airbag after a fall?

After a minor fall, you can reset the mechanism of your airbag waistcoat independently and in just a few moments. Here are the steps to follow:

• Unscrew the impacted gas cartridge
• Completely empty the air contained inside the airbag. To do this, place the waistcoat on a flat surface and apply pressure to each of the cushions to release the CO2. Retract the airbag cushions and close the press studs or Velcro straps depending on your model.
• Insert the screw (supplied with your equipment) into the hole on the underside of the casing and start tightening by hand, then continue using the Allen key (also supplied) until the receptacle is far enough down to accept the ball-key
• Position the key ball inside the receptacle. The ring must be fully retracted and flat.
• Lower the red ring (if your waistcoat has one) or hold the ball with your fingers while you loosen and remove the screw using the Allen key. Then push the red ring back up so that it does not interfere with the release of the key ball.
• Screw on a new cartridge, making sure that the seal is intact (no holes)
• In the event of a major fall that has put a lot of strain on the fabric of the airbag waistcoat, we recommend that you send it to us for a complete check of your equipment.

How to clean your airbag vest

We recommend that you store and maintain your equipment with the utmost care to ensure that it lasts as long as possible.

We recommend that you clean it regularly with a soft, damp brush or use a sponge with a little soapy water to prevent stubborn stains from becoming deeply embedded in the fabric, and dry it on a hanger. Under no circumstances should our products be put in the washing machine, tumble dryer or immersed in water, as this could damage the metal components and the internal membrane and alter the effectiveness of the waistcoat. The airbag waistcoat, on the other hand, is made of synthetic material and is highly resistant to all types of weather.

Between uses, we recommend keeping your equipment in a dry place away from heat and humidity. It's also best to keep it in its protective cover, flat or hanging from a handlebar to avoid bending the inner tube.

We recommend having your airbag waistcoat serviced every 2 to 3 years depending on how often you use it. If the waistcoat is going to be triggered very frequently (several times a month), an annual check may be considered.
