RFX Pro Engine Distribution Plug Set – Manufacturer Part No. FXEP 40400 99H2

Designed for off-road motorcyclists, this RFX Pro oil cover plug effectively replaces fragile plastic parts. CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, it ensures increased dimensional stability against heat and engine stresses. Lightweight and hollow, it maintains its shape under pressure and accepts OEM O-rings for reliable sealing.

Material: 7075-T6 aluminum, anodized gray
Keys: 8 mm and 6 mm hex heads for easy installation
Packaging: sold individually
Design: CNC machining, anodized finish, compatible with OEM O-ring

Suitable for the Cross environment, this plug is aimed at riders looking for a robust and lightweight part for the distribution cover. Examples of declared compatibility: YAMAHA YZ 450 F (2026), YAMAHA WR 450 F (2026), YAMAHA YZ 450 FX (2024).

Installation Tips

Remove the old plug (often plastic) and keep the original O-ring if in good condition.
Carefully clean the threads and the opening to avoid contamination.
Place the O-ring on the new plug and tighten with the appropriate hex key without forcing.

A simple replacement to enhance the reliability of the distribution cover without compromising on weight or finish.
